Here's a Hands-On Look at HomePod Mini 2's New Two-Tone Colors
The HomePod mini 2 is launching tomorrow (or in a few hours in Australia and New Zealand) and a new hands-on video from Craig's Tech Talk gives a clear look at the two-tone color design Apple added with some of the color options. For the pink, blue, and green HomePod mini models, the two layers of acoustic fabric are different colors. In pink, the outer layer is a light pink and the inner fabric is more of a coral. For the blue HomePod mini 2, the mesh is blue and the fabric underneath is green. The green HomePod mini 2 has the green color outside and blue underneath, so it's the opposite of the blue model. You can get a close-up look at the colors at the one-minute mark in the video. The midnight and white HomePod mini 2 options also have a bit of a two-tone look, but it is more subtle than the pink, blue, and green models. Apple's original HomePod mini also used a mesh fabric, but it did not have a two-tone color look.Related Roundup: HomePod mini 2Buyer's Guide: HomePod Mini (Buy Now)Related Forum: HomePod, HomeView, CarPlay – Home & Auto TechThis article, "Here's a Hands-On Look at HomePod Mini 2's New Two-Tone Colors" first appeared on MacRumors.comDiscuss this article in our forums
