Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was diagnosed with blood clots in his lungs and leg, the team said Monday, likely sidelining the Super Bowl MVP for the rest of 2026.
After further testing and monitoring, the team said his condition has been upgraded to a deep vein thrombosis, as well as bilateral pulmonary emboli.
Jalen Hurts played in London after being awake 36 straight hours due to a blood clot discovery, but deeper testing revealed a far more serious diagnosis.
Hurts' agent, Nicole Lynn, and the Eagles released a joint statement on social media.
