Sarina Wiegman says she "cannot think of a better job in football" as she commits to staying on as manager of the Lionesses until after Euro 2029.
LONDON (AP) — Sarina Wiegman has signed a contract extension to stay as head coach of the England's women team through the 2029 European Championship, the FA said on Monday.The Dutch coach, who will turn 57 later this month, led the Lionesses to a second straight Euros title last year, having also steered the team to the World Cup final in 2023.

Sarina Wiegman has signed a two-year contract extension to remain England Women’s head coach until the end of the 2029 European Championships. The 56-year-old Dutch coach’s contract with England was due to expire after next summer’s Women’s World Cup in Brazil. The extension means Wiegman will remain in post through next summer’s World Cup and Euro 2029, as well the 2027 Nations League campaign next spring which will serve as a qualification pathway for a Team GB squad at the 2028 Olympic Games
