Latest missile launch appears to be a show of force since South Korea's hypersonic missile test-fire, Seoul says.
Tensions have been rising between the two Koreas in recent weeks amid weapons tests by both countries and a border mine blast last month that wounded three South Korean soldiers.
South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said the missiles were fired from an area around the North Korean capital of Pyongyang.
