Cristiano Ronaldo has been provisionally suspended by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) after leaving his country's international camp last month.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been provisionally suspended by Portugal after walking out on the national team. Ronaldo left the Portugal squad after he was an unused substitute for a 2-1 win away to Norway in the Nations League on September 27.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been provisionally suspended after the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) announced on Saturday that it had opened disciplinary proceedings against the 41-year-old over his decision to walk out on the national team."Disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against Cristiano Ronaldo," said the FPF in a statement, classifying the case as "urgent" and confirming Ronaldo is currently suspended pending a decision on the final punishment.
Portugal does not play again until Nations League play resumes on Nov. 14.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been provisionally suspended by the Portuguese Football Federation after walking out of the national team camp, Portuguese media reported on Saturday. There is at yet no decision from the federation's disciplinary committee on the extent of his long-term punishment.
