President Donald Trump said he will award retired MLB pitcher Roger Clemens the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Houston native and former Astros ace Roger Clemens introduced President Donald Trump on stage in San Antonio, then was told he will receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
The president said he called MLB commissioner Rob Manfred about Clemens' Hall of Fame candidacy earlier this year. Manfred does not control the Hall of Fame.
