(AP) — Cavan Sullivan became the youngest player to score a goal in U. men's national team history, fellow teenager Julian Hall added another goal, and the Americans cruised to a 3-0 victory over Mexico on Saturday night in an international friendly that was the 80th match between the rivals.
In front of a near-capacity crowd disproportionately sporting Mexican green, two attackers with a combined age of 35 scored in each half as Pochettino’s second term continued on its stirring path with a third consecutive victory.
Cavan Sullivan's first goal for the U.S. men's national team came against its biggest rival.
