The NFL suspended San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York for six games - three of which he has already served - and fined him $500,000 for violating its personal conduct policy.
Jed York's NFL suspension and $500,000 fine stem from a prostitution sting at a trailer park that left the 49ers owner facing mounting costs.
York, who was arrested after attempting to meet with a fake prostitution service, pleaded no contest to his charges last month.
49ers owner Jed York originally faced a charge of engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools. He later reached a plea deal on a lesser charge.
The league also handed the 49ers owner a substantial fine.
