The Supreme Court cleared Trump's third-country deportation policy to proceed while justices prepare to hear the full legal challenge in December.
Under a series of often-secret agreements, the Trump administration has deported some 25,000 people to more than two dozen countries, including Liberia and Guyana. The vast majority have been sent to Mexico.
The Supreme Court said in an unsigned order it will hear arguments in the challenge to the Trump administration's third-country-removal policy in December.
The court also announced it would hear arguments in December on the legality of the Trump administration policy to swiftly deport immigrants to countries not their own.
