The ICE officer who shot a Venezuelan delivery driver was not wearing a body camera at the time of the shooting, sources familiar with the investigation told CBS News.
The ICE officer who shot a Venezuelan man in Austin on Sunday, leaving a bullet lodged in his back, was issued a body camera but was not wearing it during the shooting, two officials with the Department of Homeland Security told NBC News.
The officer was issued a body camera but officials said it was not clear why he was not wearing it. Another officer’s body cam only captured partial footage of the shooting.
