Mariners call up infielder-outfielder Michael Arroyo for series finale against the Athletics‎

The Seattle Mariners called up infielder-outfielder Michael Arroyo from Triple-A on Sunday and he'll make his MLB debut against the Athletics. The 21-year-old infielder-outfielder is playing second base and batting eighth in the lineup in the finale of the teams' four-game series as Seattle tries to snap a three-game skid. Arroyo, a native of Colombia, was batting .283 with 18 home runs, 81 RBIs and 17 stolen bases over a combined 114 games between Double-A Arkansas and Triple-A Tacoma.
