Max Johnson threw for 281 yards, three Eagles scored rushing touchdowns, and Georgia Southern cruised past FCS member Charleston Southern 31-0 on Saturday night. Johnson was 28-for-39 passing and Ashton Hollins caught eight passes for 106 yards and a score. Jamarian Samuel, Ty Cummings, and Weston Bryan each scored on the ground.
