Far-right British political commentator Milo Yiannopoulos was detained by ICE, according to an ICE detention database.
ICE's parent agency, the US Department of Homeland Security, said Yiannopoulos, 41, was arrested on Thursday at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.
Mr. Yiannopoulos, a prominent early supporter of President Trump, was detained at the New Orleans airport. The Trump administration publicized his arrest and shared a mug shot.
The far-right commentator and self-described internet troll was arrested at the airport in New Orleans for staying in the country after his visa expired, according to DHS.
The British citizen, who lives and works in the US, has supported Trump and ICE agents in the past.
