Chicago Sky team owner Michael Alter said Tuesday Enes Kanter Freedom is banned from Wintrust Arena after his altercation with Natasha Cloud on Sunday.
Enes Kanter Freedom, a former NBA player who has recently gained notoriety for his vocal opposition to transgender athletes competing in women’s sports, has been banned by the Chicago Sky after an in-game verbal altercation with a Sky player. Michael Alter, the Sky’s majority owner, announced Tuesday that Freedom would be barred from attending Sky games following his behavior at Sunday’s game between Chicago and the Indiana Fever.
