Duleep Trophy: Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's red-ball struggles continue; Sudip Gharami's 146 leads East Zone's recovery‎

Sudip Gharami smashed 146 as East Zone recovered strongly to reach 355/6 against North East on the opening day of the Duleep Trophy. Gharami shared a 150-run sixth-wicket stand with Shahbaz Ahmed, who remained unbeaten on 100. Kumar Kushagra also scored 55, while Jotin Singh took 3/55. East Zone finished the day in a strong position.
