A charter plane carrying two pilots and six passengers crashed near a remote Alaska radar station, with all eight people aboard confirmed dead.
A Security Aviation charter flight with eight people on board crashed near Cape Newenham while approaching the remote western Alaska site Thursday.
The plane took off from Anchorage and is believed to have crashed early Thursday afternoon on approach to Cape Newenham, an NTSB official said.
Clint Johnson, the National Transportation Safety Board's Alaska region chief, said two pilots and six passengers were on board.
