Pallister stuns Ledecky in Pan Pacs 800m free as two world records carry Douglass to gold‎

Australian Lani Pallister dealt US great Katie Ledecky her first 800m freestyle defeat in a major international meet on Saturday, beating her one-time idol at the Pan Pacific Championships in Irvine, California.Canadian Summer McIntosh did beat Ledecky in the 800m free at a minor domestic meeting in Florida in February of 2024.
