Apple has declared the iPhone X and 2018 15-inch MacBook Pro officially obsolete based on when they stopped being on sale, and repairs for the devices will no longer be offered.Apple now classifies the iPhone X as an obsolete product.Apple's iPhone X, which launched in 2017, was the first iPhone to feature Face ID rather than a Touch ID Home button. It also brought an OLED screen to the iPhone, but that was almost a decade ago.Apple classifies a device as "vintage" when it stopped distributing the product for sale more than five years ago, but less than seven years ago. After a device hasn't been sold new for more than seven years, it's designated as "obsolete."
