Apple wants to pay publishers to use their content in Siri AI‎

According to a new report, Apple wants to make content deals with online publishers, possibly worth up to nine figures, for the new Siri AI to be able to use their stuff so it can answer questions about current events and information. Apple has allegedly proposed a variable compensation plan. Payments would only be made to the publishers it partners with if their content is used in Siri AI. Apple wants to be proactive here and play the good guy so that it can avoid being sued by publishers for using their content for AI services. This isn't just a theoretical possibility, either....
