The Los Angeles Lakers, one of the most successful teams in NBA history, are being sold to former Disney CEO Bob Iger and investor Joshua Kushner in a deal valued at a reported $12.5 billion."I want to congratulate my good friend Bob Iger and Josh Kushner on their purchase of the Los Angeles Lakers!"
The Los Angeles Lakers is to be sold for a reported record $12.5bn - less than a year after Mark Walter took a majority stake in the NBA franchise.
The deal comes less than 1 year after Mark Walter purchased a majority stake from the Buss family for about $10 billion.
