Apple has adjusted its trade-in values across several iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch models, as well as for select Android phones. Here are the new values.
Apple today updated its U.S. trade-in estimates, raising values for most iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch models and adding several Android phones to the list for the first time. As first noted by 9to5Mac, some devices gained nearly 30% in estimated value compared to the last update in May. The iPhone 16 Pro Max now tops Apple's iPhone estimates at up to $720, up from $695, and increases run all the way down the lineup to some of Apple's oldest supported models: iPhone 16 Pro Max: $695 to $720 iPhone 16 Pro: $560 to $630 iPhone 16 Plus: $465 to $485 iPhone 16: $460 to $480 iPhone 15 Pro Max: $490 to $530 iPhone 15 Pro: $410 to $420 iPhone 15 Plus: $325 to $340 iPhone 15: $320 to $335 iPhone 14 Pro Max: $375 to $405 iPhone 14 Pro: $320 to $335 iPhone 14: $225 to $235 iPhone SE (3rd generation): $80 to $85 iPhone 13 Pro Max: $320 to $340 iPhone 13 Pro: $260 to $285 iPhone 13: $195 to $205 iPhone 13 mini: $150 to $155 iPhone 12 Pro Max: $220 to $240 iPhone 12 Pro: $180 to $195 iPhone 12: $125 to $135 iPhone 12 mini: $85 to $90 iPhone 11 Pro Max: $150 to $160 iPhone 11 Pro: $135 to $145 iPhone 11: $100 to $110 iPhone XS Max: $90 to $95 iPhone XS: $65 to $70 iPhone XR: $80 to $90 iPhone 8: $35 to $40 Unchanged models include the iPhone 16e, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone SE (2nd generation), iPhone X, and iPhone 8 Plus. Apple Watch estimates rose across most of the lineup: Apple Watch Series 10: $150 to $165 Apple Watch Series 9: $130 to $135 Apple Watch Series 8: $90 to $95 Apple Watch Series 7: $65 to $70 Unchanged models include the Apple Watch Ultra 2, Apple Watch Ultra, Apple Watch SE (2nd generation), Apple Watch Series 6, and Apple Watch SE (1st generation). Android trade-in values were more mixed. Apple added several newer Samsung, Google, and OnePlus phones to the list for the first time, while some existing estimates fell: Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G: $130 to $125 Samsung Galaxy S22+ 5G: $80 to $85 Samsung Galaxy S22 5G: $80 to $85 Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G: $95 (new) Google Pixel 9 Pro XL: $315 (new) Google Pixel 9 Pro: $305 (new) Google Pixel 9: $210 (new) Google Pixel 8 Pro: $165 to $155 Google Pixel 7 Pro: $95 to $90 Google Pixel 7: $65 to $60 OnePlus 13: $250 (new) OnePlus 13R: $165 (new) Unchanged models include the Samsung Galaxy S21+ 5G, Samsung Galaxy S21 5G, Google Pixel 8, Google Pixel 8a, OnePlus 12, and OnePlus 12R.
