Google Assistant is shutting down, here’s when‎

Google is going to be shutting down the Google Assistant service, now that Gemini is taking over. The Google Assistant shutdown will commence on September 4, but it "may take a few weeks" to reach everyone who's still using it. This shutdown will take effect on Android and Wear OS, but also on headphones (since they were using the phone's Google Assistant anyway) and vehicles running Android Auto (since, again, it was basically the Google Assistant on the phone that was being used).
