DC Open postpones men’s, women’s finals due to rain‎

WASHINGTON — After nearly nine hours of intermittent heavy rain, thunder and lightning Sunday, the DC Open postponed its women’s and men’s finals until Monday. Rain delayed the start of the women’s final between the No. 1 seed American Jessica Pegula and rising star Alex Eala of the Philippines by three hours Sunday.
