Retaliatory strikes by US and Saudi fighter planes hit logistics and weapons sites in eastern Iraq belonging to "Iran-aligned terrorists", the US military said.
The U.S. and Saudi militaries announced airstrikes late Tuesday on Iranian-backed groups in Iraq, after Iran and its proxies allegedly targeted American forces.
Riyadh says its targeted attacks were done in coordination with the US military.
