More than 12,000 pounds of bacon recalled after USDA issues highest-risk alert‎

Federal food safety officials have recalled more than 12,000 pounds of imported bacon after discovering the products entered the country without undergoing a mandatory inspection, according to the USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service.
