Xiaomi Mix Fold 5, global Redmi Note 17 and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max get certified‎

Xiaomi is working on its next foldable smartphone, which we're tentatively calling the Xiaomi Mix Fold 5. It has now allegedly been certified for sale in China by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) with the model number 2608BPX34C. The device is expected to have a wider form factor than its predecessors, similar to the Galaxy Z Fold8 and iPhone Ultra. Its folding screen is apparently going to be 7.6" diagonally. It is rumored to be powered by Xiaomi's own Xring O3 SoC, the successor to the original Xring O1 from last year. The Mix Fold 5 should launch running...
