United States Central Command announced that two service members were killed in action, one is missing in action, and four were injured Friday in Jordan in a post on X/Twitter.
US and Iran have stepped up attacks in the last week, prompting alarm about return to full-scale war across the region.
CENTCOM said it would not release further details, including the identities of the service members who died, until 24 hours after their relatives have been formally notified.
