US president has frequently pushed false claims blaming the mismanagement of rival politicians for large wildfires.
The president said on Friday in a social media post that Canada was failing to manage its wildfire response as smoke has blanketed U.S. cities including New York and Chicago.
President Trump on Friday called the smoke from wildfires in Canada trickling into U.S. airspace unacceptable, saying he would hold the country responsible. CBS News congressional reporter Taurean Small has the latest.
