Tottenham's Pedro Porro scored the second goal to seal a 2-0 win and send Spain through to the World Cup final with a convincing semi-final victory over favourites France at Dallas Stadium. Luis de la Fuente's side blunted a France team brimming with attacking talent, controlled a game of few chances and will deservedly take their place in Sunday's showpiece thanks to goals from Mikel Oyarzabal and Pedro Porro.
France arrived in the World Cup semi-finals hailed as the most scintillating attacking force to grace the tournament since Brazil's fabled 1982 side. "And when you don't do what you're supposed to do in a World Cup semi-final, you don't win."
