ICC backs Afghan refugee women cricketers, targets 2030 pathway to international competition‎

The ICC has extended its Development Pathway Programme for Afghan refugee women cricketers and aims to help them enter ICC qualification events by 2030. The initiative will continue providing coaching, physiotherapy, tours and competitive opportunities. Players welcomed the long-term commitment, while former Australia cricketer Mel Jones said the roadmap reflects an important investment in their future and development.
