Apple's Mac sales grew while most PC makers saw drops in Q2‎

In the computer market in the second quarter of this year, there was only one clear winner: Apple. It's the only company that managed to gain market share compared to the same period last year, as its shipments grew by 10.1%, according to a new IDC report. Apple shipped 6.7 million Macs in Q2 for a 9.9% market share, up from 6.1 million units and 8.5% market share in Q2 2025.
