Chicago Blackhawks star Connor Bedard injured his shoulder last week and had surgery on July 8. He could miss a month of the 2026-27 season.
Chicago Blackhawks center Connor Bedard will miss the start of the season after he had surgery on his left shoulder on Wednesday. Team physician Michael Terry said Bedard is expected "to make a full recovery in an approximate timeline of four months.” The NHL hasn't announced its regular-season schedule, but the Blackhawks played their first game last season on Oct. 7.
Bedard landed awkwardly on his shoulder during an offseason training session last week in British Columbia.
