Most Europeans see economic growth as essential for a sustainable future‎

According to a new study by the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (ICTA-UAB), most European citizens consider economic growth a necessary condition, rather than an obstacle, for advancing toward a sustainable future. The paper is published in Nature Communications.
