Paraguay has declared a national holiday after its national team stunned four-time champions Germany
The South Americans caused a massive upset as they knocked out the four-time world champions on penalties
The knockout triumph was Paraguay’s second in eight World Cup appearances after it toppled Japan in penalties in the Round of 16 in 2010.
After the national team stunned Germany to advance to the round of 16, a jubilant Santiago Pena said Paraguayans would be off work Tuesday.
