Charging documents outlined an ambitious plan involving explosive-laden drones and rifles, but left less clear that the conspirators had the means to carry it out.
According to officials speaking to FOX News, the goal of the planned attack was to target "capitalist elites," "billionaires," or politicians who received donations from AIPAC.
At least five people are in custody in an alleged plot that included 23 people, according to US media reports.
In newly unsealed court documents, the government alleges that the plan would have used drones. The FBI boss says multiple suspects are in custody.
