The FBI disrupted an alleged attempt to target the UFC America 250 event in Washington, D.C., FBI Director Kash Patel said Tuesday.
According to officials speaking to FOX News, the goal of the planned attack was to target "capitalist elites," "billionaires," or politicians who received donations from AIPAC.
The "UFC Freedom 250" event -- which also fell on Trump's 80th birthday -- was meant to kick off this year's festivities for the 250th anniversary of US independence.
