The FBI and partners disrupted an alleged plot targeting the UFC Freedom 250 event in Washington, D.C., with five people now in custody across multiple states.
According to officials speaking to FOX News, the goal of the planned attack was to target "capitalist elites," "billionaires," or politicians who received donations from AIPAC.
The "UFC Freedom 250" event -- which also fell on Trump's 80th birthday -- was meant to kick off this year's festivities for the 250th anniversary of US independence.
