British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said on sunday morning that UK armed forces intercepted a Russian oil tanker trying to pass through the English Channel.
British forces intercepted a Russian shadow fleet oil tanker on Sunday morning, its Ministry of Defence said, in the latest effort to disrupt Moscow’s sanctions-evasion network.
Marines were joined by National Crime Agency officers in the six-hour long operation in the early hours of Sunday.
