Secretary of State Marco Rubio indicated last week the Trump administration had "no problem" with providing visas to Iran's team.
The approval comes just 10 days before the Iranian squad's opening match against New Zealand in Los Angeles.
All 26 players on Iran's roster were approved for the team's group stage games in Los Angeles and Seattle, though several staff members' visa applications were reportedly rejected.

The team's participation in the World Cup has been complicated by Iran's war with Israel and the United States.
