NASCAR Hall of Famer Ned Jarrett, a legendary driver and broadcaster, died of natural causes at his home in Newton, North Carolina. He was 93.

Jarrett, known as “Gentleman Ned” for his demeanor, may have been better known by younger NASCAR fans for his broadcasting career.
Jarrett was a two-time Cup Series champion and one of the first competitors to pursue broadcasting.
Jarrett won 50 races in his Cup Series career before he became a revered TV analyst.
