Ecuador's Jhonatan Narváez won the 11th stage of the Giro d'Italia on Wednesday, his third daily victory in the race this year. After the 195 kilometre ride from Porcari and Chiavari, the 29-year-old beat Spaniard Enric Mas in a sprint finish on the Ligurian coast.
Jhonatan Narváez became the most successful Ecuadorian stage winner at the Giro d’Italia when he triumphed on Wednesday, while Afonso Eulálio remained in the overall lead. Narváez edged out Enric Mas at the end of the 195-kilometer (121-mile) route from Porcari to Chiavari that featured three categorized climbs. Diego Ulissi was third, leading the remnants of the breakaway across the line, 11 seconds behind.
