With Kevin Durant missing a second game due to injury, both Reed Sheppard and Tari Eason joined Houston’s starting lineup for Game 3 against the Lakers.
Kevin Durant won’t play in Game 3 of Houston’s first-round playoff series against the Los Angeles Lakers Friday night because of a sprained left ankle
Durant also missed the opener of the series because of a bruised right knee. Coach Ime Udoka said Durant was injured with about seven minutes left in Game 2 when he was chasing down Luke Kennard, but he did not leave the game.
The Rockets missed Kevin Durant in Game 1 and got him back in Game 2. And now he’s out for Game 3.
