The PlayStation Portal just got even better: a new High Quality Mode and 'refined streaming experience' headline the latest update‎

Last year, the PlayStation Portal was graced with its biggest update since the peripheral's 2023 launch. This came with a fair few advantages, not least the ability to play PS5 exclusives without actually having a PS5. As as result of this updates, Takuro Fushimi, senior manager of product management at Sony, noted that "the PlayStation portal has now become the most widely used device for PlayStation 5 Remote Play, surpassing mobile PC, PS5, and PS4."
