Home Alone actress Catherine O'Hara died of a pulmonary embolism, with cancer the underlying cause, according to a death certificate.
Catherine O'Hara, known for her roles in "Home Alone," "Schitt's Creek" and "Beetlejuice," died on Jan. 30 at the age of 71.
The actress died on 30 January in a Santa Monica hospital, at the age of 71.
O'Hara's manager confirmed the news of her death on Jan. 30.
Catherine O'Hara's cause of death was revealed on Feb. 9, 10 days after the "Home Alone" star died. The actress suffered from a pulmonary embolism and was also battling cancer.
