The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity Wednesday night because the trade had not yet been approved by the league. The Hawks had listed Porzingis — who has recently missed time with an Achilles tendon injury — as questionable for Thursday's game against Utah because of an illness.
The Warriors have agreed to send Jonathan Kuminga and Buddy Hield to the Hawks for Kristaps Porzingis.
