The Denver Broncos announced that they’ve promoted passing game coordinator Davis Webb to offensive coordinator, as the end game of a series of sudden moves made by head coach Sean Payton was finally revealed. The Broncos also announced that offensive quality control coach Logan Kilgore has been promoted to quarterbacks coach, which was the position Webb previously held.
Sean Payton promoted Davis Webb to offensive coordinator on Monday, replacing longtime right-hand man Joe Lombardi, who was fired after the Denver Broncos' loss in the AFC championship game. Payton also hired Logan Kilgore as quarterbacks coach, taking over Webb's old job.
