President Donald Trump announced Sunday that he has determined that the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington should close for about two years
President Donald Trump said Sunday he will move to close Washington's Kennedy Center performing arts center for two years starting in July for construction, his latest move to upturn the storied venue since returning to the White House.
The move follows several artists cancelling performances at the storied institution after it was recently renamed as the Trump Kennedy Center.
Complete closure of the performing arts center in Washington, D.C., will start on July 4, Mr. Trump said in a social media post.
