Google Chrome is ditching support for macOS 12 Monterey, leaving older Macs stranded‎

Google has announced that its Chrome web browser will soon no longer support macOS 12 Monterey, with a July 2026 update requiring macOS 13 Ventura or newer.macOS Monterey users should consider upgrading if possibleWhile Google points out that Chrome will continue to work on Macs running macOS Monterey, users may face a security risk if they do. The software will receive no new updates — including security fixes.The news, announced via a post on Google's support website, confirms that the current Chrome 150 is the last one to support macOS Monterey.
