Trump administration ending temporary legal protections for Somalis‎

The increased presence of immigration officers in Minneapolis began in December with a focus on the city's large Somali population. The Trump administration is now saying it's ending the temporary protected status program for Somalia, meaning beneficiaries will lose their legal status and work permits.
