Texas Tech could be adding tallest player in women’s college basketball‎

Texas Tech reportedly has signed Stephanie Okechukwu, who at 7-feet would be the tallest player in women’s college basketball if the NCAA approves her eligibility. Although the school has not made an official announcement of the signing, Red Raiders head coach Krista Gerlich put a cryptic post on X, saying, “Walking into the New Year feeling 7 feet tall!” with a video possibly of Okechukwu.
